Channeling the Spirit of the Earth
I know I’m not the only one feeling it—the shift in era.
The unraveling of brute force, linear thinking, and the hyper-intellectualization of everything. The reduction of beauty and spirituality into what can be proven, marketed, or optimized for wellness.
There’s something in the air, an invitation into a different way of being.
A call toward intimacy with the body and toward sensing and co-creating with the dream and spirit of the Earth.
Not just imagining what could be different and muscling our way there through overcomplicated strategies and spreadsheets. But through attuning, romancing, feeling, allowing. Letting ourselves listen to what the Earth is whispering beneath our feet.
Too often, spirituality is approached like a hack.
A quick fix found in a YouTube tutorial. A badge / certification of knowledge used to assert spiritual superiority.
I used to be one of those people—grasping, searching for someone or something to tell me I was worth loving, worth living for. I thought I’d find it in a set of practices, meditations, or exercises that would give me something good to think about.
After I left the cult, after I deconstructed my faith, I was in that limbo space—wondering which religion, which practice, which brand of spirituality I should belong to. And then, something shifted.
The Earth began to reach me through the questions I was asking, grounding me into to her, reminding me that there was a romance available if I could attune myself to her body, to my own body, to the conversation happening beneath the surfaces of each.
There is a dialogue available. One we can’t hear if we are always looking outward for solutions.
We can feel it, sense it through our own internal sight — through seeing the peeling edges of reality, our paradigm born from a sore womb.
This capacity to see, to sense, to relay the information — this is channeling.
We’re often told that people who channel are dislodged from reality, floating away from the body. And some are—especially when the desire to ‘plug in’ comes from a place of extraction rather than devotion and dialogue. The way we engage the unseen matters. Are we seeking answers to bypass our own wisdom, or are we developing a relationship, a deep romance with the intelligence and nature of the Earth.
Channeling the Earth is not another self-help protocol.
It’s not a tool to keep yourself from feeling insane in an insane world. It’s a remembering. A returning. A descent into the soul.
It’s about remembering that we are literally nature. We are children of the Earth.
What would we create, who would we become, if we truly lived from that knowing?
I think about natural law. Spiritual law. The law of cycles, of regeneration. Life, death, life. The Earth is always showing us, through her body, how things move, how things become. She reminds us that imagination is not just for content strategies or artistic expression, but for shaping the world itself.
When we create from the level of the soul, we are not bound by the limitations of linear time. Things move efficiently. We bend time and matter because we are moving with the intelligence of the whole. This is not wishful thinking—it is the deep structure of reality, a rhythm we have forgotten how to dance with.
These westernized expressions of “manifestation” make me weep. We have forgotten who we are at the level of soul. We have traded true creative power for quack hacks that flatten our soul-level inheritance into a secret dirty tool for acquiring more without facing grief, without touching death. The real creative process invites us to walk through those thresholds. To descend into the dark, fertile places of the soul to remember who we are by channeling the Earth.
Because though we have forgotten who we are, the Earth has not forgotten us. The Earth remembers and desires to reach us through our vision, our dreams, our wants.
Some people get uneasy with the word ‘channeling.’ That’s okay. What I mean is simple: there is an experience available where you can allow yourself to become a conduit for the Earth’s wisdom. Not as something outside of yourself, but as something already woven into your nature. It’s what happens in flow state, when ideas drop in effortlessly, when we are effortlessly transcending our perceived limitations, when writing flows beyond what you thought you had the capacity for.
It’s not separate from you—it is you, tuned in and connected.
The Earth is always speaking, but her language is sensation, imagery, rhythm, symbol, desire. She speaks through the erotic, through longing, through the ache for something more whole.
And if we want to unlock the gifts, we have to be available for them. And to become available for them, we have to allow ourselves to soften and refrain from reducing everything we see, hear, and feel from the channel into a scalable, optimizable, hack for your wellness.
We are done with the age of sheer force, of extraction, and overextending the body for “progress”. This old paradigm is falling apart.
Ken Wilber writes about this in A Theory of Everything—how we are shifting beyond reductionism, beyond intellect-for-intellect’s-sake, into integral consciousness. The kind of consciousness that composts, that regenerates, that is lifting all things to a higher beauty.
Some people want to define the New Earth with certainty: “It will be this way, not that way.” But the truth is, it will be as varied as the souls dreaming it into being. Your vision, your song, your particular thread of soul carries a unique piece of this unfolding. And the invitation is to listen. To become intimate with what is asking to move through you.
For me, the vision is about remembering the creative process as something beyond just art-making. The creative process is a deeply kinesthetic, telekinetic, and esoteric process that is taught to us through seed wisdom, the seasons, and the cycles of the Earth.
But this is my vision. What is yours? What are you being invited to build?
Channeling the Earth is about reconnecting with your nature. It’s about remembering that your soul is rooted in the Earth. It’s already connected. It already belongs. It’s about remembering that your essence carries a blueprint for something only you can bring into form. And whether that expresses as a clear vocation or simply as the way you take up space in the world, it is yours alone. It is your listening path. Your frequency arc. Your dharma.
Channeling the Earth is an invitation to find the courage to engage your vision as a dialogue with the Earth and a practice of conscious manifestation through soul remembrance. It’s an invitation to listen for how the Earth wants to move through you as you bring your vision (and her dream) into form.
This Friday, May 7th, I’ll be exploring this deeper in my free workshop on Channeling with the Earth. I invite you to join me in conversation, in practice, and in remembering how to create and build from the soul nature.
