How to Shift Reality with Futurewriting
Moving Beyond Fantasy and Into Visionary Sovereignty
This podcast was originally shared inside of the Futurewriting Collective as a private podcast episode. Enjoy.
Futurewriting is not about being in the fantasy of what could potentially happen and spending all of our time and energy hoping and wishing that things will change.
This practice goes far beyond manifestation as you know it. Something that reaches into the very fabric of reality and asks you to step into your role as a conscious creator of culture, as someone who came to Earth at this time to do something specific and meaningful.
You Are Not Here to Remain Asleep
Let me be clear: you are not someone who came to Earth at this time to remain asleep to all that you came here to do. You are someone who has been given every opportunity to come awake to your own potential and your own power.
This has nothing to do with you needing to be ambitious or wanting to start a business. If you do, amazing. If you don't, that's also amazing. This has nothing to do with any particular story or version of success that may or may not mean anything to you.
This is about you remembering your own nature. This is about you having access to your own essence. This is about you learning how to see in the dark, knowing your soul's name, knowing how to walk through this earth with purpose in you, purpose behind you, and taking responsibility for what you came here to do—no more and no less.
The Stories Living in Your Cells
The stories we carry about what is true or possible live in our cells, our bodies, and our subconscious minds. They are often trajectories that began many, many ancestors ago.
Some of the beliefs that you're holding that are keeping you trapped in narratives of little worth and smallness were likely once your grandmother's inner stories and her great-grandmother's before her. When we shift our myths—our deepest core beliefs about the way things are—we change our futures.
We break thousand-year curses. We liberate our lives and our ancestors. We create room for the Spirit of the Earth to regenerate herself through us.
Futurewriting is more than just a manifestation practice. It is an invitation to embody new ways, new shapes, and new norms.
The 5-Step Futurewriting Process: How Reality Actually Shifts
Futurewriting is a process of manifesting new futures through a combination of eco-somatics, subconscious re-patterning, and visioning practice. Here's how to move beyond fantasy and into the actual mechanics of reality shifting:
Step 1: Choose Your Desired Future State and Articulate It
This isn't about creating vision boards or writing lists. This is about getting crystal clear on the future you're calling in and speaking it into existence with precision and power. You're not hoping for it to happen—you're declaring it as the reality you're moving toward.
Step 2: See, Feel, Taste, Hold, and Sense Yourself In It
Your nervous system doesn't know the difference between what's happening now and what you're vividly imagining. This step is about training your entire being to recognize the frequency of your desired future. You're not visualizing—you're inhabiting.
Step 3: Acknowledge and Integrate Any Resistance
Here's where most people get stuck. Any soul aspects, younger parts of you, or wounded ancestors that want to be integrated need to be met with love and understanding. They're not obstacles—they're guardians holding important medicine. Make space for newness to come in by honoring what needs to be seen and integrated.
Step 4: Move Through an Ecosomatic Process
This is the futurewriting process itself—a body-based practice that rewrites subconscious myths and shifts states. Your body is the bridge between the world you've known and the world you're creating. Through eco-somatic practices, you literally rewire your nervous system to hold new possibilities.
Step 5: Live, Assume the New State, and Allow Reality to Shift
This is where the magic happens. You don't wait for external evidence that things are changing. You begin living from the new state immediately, allowing yourself to be initiated by all the experiences you're calling in.
Beyond Personal Development: Cultural Impact
I want you to understand that this work isn't just personal development. When you reclaim your personal power and take responsibility for how your life is shaping out, you're also taking responsibility for your role in culture and your potential impact in the cultural sphere.
You have something to offer the collective that is beyond our imagining. When you remember what you came here to do, the world—your people, or even just your family—can benefit and grow and materialize in such a way that feeds the whole.
Your Own Process Will Emerge
As you engage the futurewriting process, as you engage the technologies and tools we associate with what futurewriting is, you'll start to notice that your own process will emerge. What we offer are suggestions, things that we have seen work to help creators take ownership of their living world.
But you might also begin to engage your own process and allow it to emerge. This is more than welcome—this is deeply encouraged. We want you in your power, not just listening to a bunch of things we say and making a religion out of it, but really allowing yourself to source and touch into your own sovereignty.
The Invitation
This is about you beginning to create something that feels good in your body and your spirit, outside of your victim stories, outside of the past, outside of the circumstances, outside of all of your perceived limitations.
You are here to learn the story skills to be able to call that future forward and bring it into form. You are here to remember that you exist at different thresholds and seasons of change, and to harness those seasons of change no matter where you are.
The future is not something that happens to you. The future is something you write, with your choices, your embodiment, your willingness to step into visionary sovereignty and take responsibility for what you came here to initiate on Earth at this time.
Welcome to the practice of futurewriting. Welcome to remembering exactly who you are.
