When I created my very first mini-course, Subtle Sales, I was blown away by the results and the amount of impact it made in just a few short days.
Here’s how the Mini-Course Toolkit was born:
Day 1: In the midst of organic conversations with clients, I learned that everyone I talked to was 1) terrified to share their work in a way that translates into sales and 2) overcomplicating the sales process on social media.
That same day, I threw up an idea on my stories and asked folks, “Would it benefit you for me to share my three-part process for creating consistent sales, even in low-capacity seasons?”
I received an emphatic “yes!”
Day 2: I jotted down my tried and tested process and made an outline for talking points. The biggest challenge? Letting it be daringly simple. I had to remember that I was sharing a simple process to solve a problem. I was not philosophizing the Da Vinci Code!
I gave myself some gentle restraints and got to work ensuring that no module was longer than 12 minutes and everything was communicated in a blazingly simple, yet non-condescending way.
Day 3: I created the graphics in Canva, recorded the audio in Descript, uploaded the audio files to Transistor, whipped up a Stripe checkout page, and launched that day by setting up a very simple automation in Zapier to make sure that people who registered got immediate access to the course.
Within 24 hours, over 60 people had purchased the Subtle Sales training. By the end of a week, I had over 15+ purchases of my mini-course a day.
